Considering that many hotels in Kuala Lumpur are very difficult to reach walking on foot due to total lack of sidewalks in the city, I want to know if the walk to/from the LRT station platform is do-able while pulling heavy luggage, or are their lots of stairs and/or crossing busy roads involved ?

Also, is the walk to/from the station feasible when there's a heavy rain downpour ? (as happens almost every other day in Kuala Lumpur)
I notice some people say there's a covered walkway to/from the station.
Just want to make sure the entire walk is fully indoors, or if there's any section outdoors.
It's pretty much all covered all the way but any first time guests coming from the LRT would need a room keycard or ask the guard to swipe his for you to access the parking garage and hotel elevators.
