I was able to obtain mobile boarding pass through Starlux app online check in at 24 hours prior to flight. Did that 2 times for both my flight to and from TPE with no issues. We did go to boarding gate a bit earlier just for passport verification as with the mobile boarding pass the only point of contact was at the gate.
