This is the first big goof I have run in to on .com. Is this just the tip of the iceberg?

If you are looking at an advance booking, it could also be that this flight is not *currently* in the UA system, but will be soon. UA (and every airline, I suppose), is always tweaking their schedules, adding and subtracting segemnts, direct v. connection routings, etc etc, and I oftentimes encounter flights which are not currently running. Just a possibility, anyway...
