When you exit immigration and customs and take the escalator up the departures level, you are brought directly to a security area. I do not believe there is TSA pre-check at this security area. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.) In addition, given that this itinerary is many months away, at some point, the layover may end up being more than 2 hr, and it may end up being less than 2 hr. AA (any airline, really) changes their schedules from time to time. With plenty of flights out of DFW, especially being on a Business Class ticket, if that 2 hr layover shrinks to something unacceptable, that will be easy to change.
The departing terminal may say A now but that has basically no meaning at this point. Even on the day of travel, departure gates can change to another terminal. Take Skylink from D to whatever your BOS flight is departing from once you are there.
