Due to last min, our flight back from CGK to SEA is a jumbled mess due to separate tickets off separate programs.
CGK-TPE-NRT (J, SkyMiles - finally they worth something!)
about 5 hours layover - but have to claim bags
then followed by NRT-SFO on JAL, and SFO-SEA on DL.
Both me and the mrs are approved for Japan TTP secondary inspection. Since it looks like we have plenty of time in NRT, we are hoping to get the secondary inspection done.
1. CI and JL use the same terminal (T2), so that's good. Do we do the secondary inspection after passport control upon arrival, or prior to departure with JAL? I think it's the latter, due to us having to by 2200Y worth of stamps - and we won't have that until arrival post security anyway, correct?
2. Where exactly is the registration counter at NRT T2? Copy-pasted NRT T2 pre-security floor map. Can someone point out where the registration office is?

Update:
- Just found out that the location to register is "Terminal 2 Immigration Control Area (*1)" - I guess this is the immigration counter itself?
- Noted that the convenience stores are down at B1 (Lawson and Famima), or 1F arrival (Ministop - in front of South Wing baggage carousel).
I guess now our plan would be:
- Get the luggage after CI flight arrived
- Check in the luggage at JAL counter
- Go down to B1, get stamps
- Get back in to the terminal and do the secondary inspection
