The flame emits from the TOP portion of the watch, and it comes up on the X-RAY as no ordinary watch, so your CASIO's...etc are safe. LOL
But my (Casio, but no lighter or altimeter) watch doesn't set off the WTMD so it never gets x-rayed. Any idea if TSA plans to now force people to take of their watches before the WTMD? Or send people wearing watches to secondary like they do to shoe wearers at many airports?
It wouldn't be common sense, but neither is much of the other stuff. And it would add to the humiliation of the pseudo-strip-search we are already subjected to at checkpoints.
