How to maintain Accor Gold/Platinum Status

I live in Singapore and got AccorPlus Silver via a credit card promotion after mid-2023. I got the 20 free Status Nights and got Gold a couple of short Southeast Asia vacations and beach weekends later. I didn't realize that status nights reset at the end of each calendar year, not the anniversary of your membership. I assume October is a little late to try to plan 15-20 more Status Nights, so I'll have to carry Gold through 2024.

Gold is obviously the useful tier, with early check in and room upgrades in play. Platinum does not add much more because only a limited number of Accor properties have executive lounges, and a suite upgrade is less meaningful if you are not bringing children. Not saying this is not a good benefit, just that an upgrade from a Movenpick premium room to a junior suite, for example, is a far better benefit than a suite upgrade.

How would you plan to maintain your Accor membership in this situation?

Do you just aim to get 20 bonus Status nights each year, then get at least 10 Status Nights from stays to keep maintaining Gold? Or do you make a conscious push to add some beach weekends and workcations, even in Ibis properties, just to get the 40 Status Nights in one year to hit Platinum which locks in Gold benefits for at least two more years?

How do you maximize Accor here? Or do you just aim for another loyalty program like Hilton?

(Buying AllPlus Voyageur to get 20 Status Nights is not allowed by the system because AccorPlus membership blocks this.)

Accor so far is useful given the Movenpick, Pullman, and M Gallery properties are good for normal 5-star stays (including beaches in Southeast Asia), and Ibis and Ibis Styles (even Novotel and Mercure) are good when you just want a clean bed or short workcation. Fairmont and Sofitel are good for when you want to splurge, and Mikuni in Fairmont Singapore is a good bonus for using the AccorPlus dining benefits.
