If I'm in a hurry I would try to run off the plane. A lot of people had to say tight connection to squeeze through.
I wouldn't need to run of the plane if I'm not in a hurry, and if I'm not ready I'd let the others through to keep the isle moving. Blocking it and having a big gap is just wrong.
When our kids were young we waited until everyone got off before getting our stuff. Now a parent stood up, block off the aisle, slowing dressing their kids and pack up their toys etc. What's the point of doing that?
