I'm in a similar situation now. Bought Iberia ticket through Expedia, got confirmation and E-ticket number. The booking can be checked on Iberia's website. It has all the booking details, ticket number, but no invoice. It has been a week, and no charge on my credit card.

It eventually did get charged. It took about two-three weeks for the charge to show up if I remember correctly.
