I had a SFO-LIM-YYC round trip. I've done the SFO-LIM part, chat suggested they can cancel the LIM-YYC part for me to get a FFC back. However, the flight credit only seems to price properly for trips that begin in latin america. For such flights it just shows the appropriate fare difference that it used to show before cancelling as well.

Anything else, even SFO-LAX prices as 4000+ pounds. The credit itself is greyed out if I start a booking from a fresh search.

Is there any way to use this credit for a route that doesn't start in south america?
