I am sure they are. I just think it is a bit more multifaceted than "cabin fittings are delayed". But in the end the problem is in Toulouse, as the planes are not ready to be flown to Japan yet. And much as JAL would want to start flying on time, they can't until the situation is resolved. Airbus seems to be good at a year end sprint to meet the delivery targets, so maybe they'll be ready by December 29th or so.....
