My point would be do all the testing that can be done now, so that once whatever is delayed comes more steps are already completed. Unless the items that are delayed literally blocks the engine start and first flight, which I can't in anyway see how the lack cabin fittings can prevent.....
I'd guess there's very good reasons for these delays and the folks at Airbus are doing everything within reason to deliver as fast as possible.
