We were to connect on BR68 for BKK-TPE, and got the cancellation notice when we landed. BR agent at transfer desk managed to get us on CX flights and made it back to TPE just a few hours later than the original flight (but long enough to trigger trip delay protection). That was quite lucky as there are things in our checked bags I would not want BKK custom to go through...

When I called BR to get the delay certificate (by then the news haven't broke), I was told that I need to wait a few more days as the company hasn't settled on the public story of the delayed/cancelled flight. Very on brand of them
