The main advantage over most other *A FFP is the low mileage needed to keep the status going. After reaching the TK G status by getting 40K miles in a year, you need to renew by only getting 25K in the first year or 37.5K in two years. Compared to UA which is 50K per year or LH 100K per 2 years (values are from a few years ago but easier to compare), TK is a piece of cake and there’s no requirement to fly TK metal at all. Flying LH will not provide many miles to TK but flying with UA usually can credit 75% with not expensive ticket in Y.
