I doubt wasting my time calling does anything, I have the receipt and when I leave the airport I will show whoever checks me out the rate I booked at and see what happens.
My wife's gets a nice discount via her job ( all insurance included) at National so we can't get a better price anyplace else on a midsize than the National price of $318 for 8 days at RSW in March.
Even if they charge the increased rate we are still better off at National but it's still BS IMO.
