This is very true and leads to some strange outcomes. I was tryin to redeem miles from a inter-asia trip and there was no inventory at all on CX so ended up with cash ticket. Boarded plane and J was almost completely empty at 10-15% full and Y was only 50% full. So somewhere inventory and award management isn't doing a great job.I would have thought they would have released last minute awards to try and fill things up a bit more.
