I am looking to rent a car for 2 weeks from SFO and 1 week from ATL in Dec. Considering renting an electric car for the first time. I will not be road tripping - longest drive will be 2-3 hours which would be done on a single charge. I'm wondering if it's possible to rent an electric car but charge it at a home? Will be staying with family so electricity cost not an issue but question about logistics - would the rental companies provide a cable to plug into a normal electric socket?
