This is a first....I've gotten messages multiple-times about the fact that an aircraft's wifi isn't working but the streaming movies/tv are always working--if the entire system is down then yes you should get some small token like miles or a $50 customer care certificate. When you're an airline without seatback entertainment that relies entirely on a bring your own device streaming entertainment, it's kinda a big deal when it's not working. Back in my UA days, I think I got a $200 or $250 customer care certificate when one of the video monitors wasn't working from Hawaii to the mainline.....lol.
