I hate this EV fetish. Last time in AZ rented a managers special was told EV was it... I picked the car up at 6pm and needed to drive ~180 miles, overnight, then drive to the next airport for a 6am. Place I was staying had no charger. I am not fumbling around tired and frustrated in the dark seeking a fast charger or any charger at all so I can get up at 4am to check charge status and return with ~80pc of charge to avoid ripoff. I refused the EV. I asked for a sub but the agent refused said I had to rebook. Well OK. Did it on the spot in front of her luckily rate had not changed since I made that first res and made her give me the regular Corolla so much better more reliable dependable etc. than the ElectricFetish.
