Certainly not for AS's management team. UA has the dream to expand at JFK too. Dreams and reality don't necessarily mix. AS could have approached B6 to take the NK slots at EWR but Allegiant is taking them. AS can't even figure out how to operate the limited slots they have year round. They don't need to only fly to the West Coast with the slots they have. They could set up flights to the Caribbean in the winter or whatever. There is no interest/creativity/stomach for potentially losing money.
