I've done the ICN turnaround twice this year. What I have done is tell the check-in and lounge staff at HKG that I need a meet and assistance team when I land in ICN and that I'm flying back to HKG on the same plane. You need a meet and assistance team when landing at ICN, because they will escort you through security, since they only issue your return boarding pass to HKG at the gate only.
