Fair point. I was reading "All one world carriers won’t check they on separate tickets." literally.
It is official OW policy not to through check. I thought about adding that there are more exceptions than QR, which might (or not) be changing its policy anyway. CX policy is broad (not only OW partners but all internlining airlines) and clear.
