Again, a "Day Pass" is not the same as a "One Time Pass".

The former is purchased in conjunction with a specific trip, and is always accepted, because it has been specifically purchased for those flights.

The latter is issued, two per year, in connection with the UA Chase Explorer Card Visa. This is the only pass that is sometimes not accepted due to overcrowding.
