Sure, but I'd still bet that random traveler would prefer to book Emirates as a brand, regardless of the aircraft type.
Aegean has one advantage on this route and it's (at least for me) the departure time (thanks to the aircraft leaving Athens early). I've done a midnight arrival at DXB and it wasn't much fun. Also Aegean returning in the afternoon certainly beats leaving your hotel in Dubai too early on your last day there

Well... arriving and departing at T3 is better now since there is no more priority at T1 for J pax. Ek lounge is 10000 times better than the crappy LH lounge. Aircraft... hard to compare a narrow body and a 777/380... The very positive aspect of A3 flights : I love the timing (day flight Middle East > europe are very rare and it's nice). Negative side, if they do like JED and RUH flight changing aircraft all the time it means no wifi and old 320.
