As others have pointed out, it is not so much leaving on time as arriving on time. But whichever way you look at it my experience is around the average of 70%. Better than assorted other members of the family who, in no particular order have used, Easyjet, TUI and Ryanair in the last year and on average (sample of 12 flights) have been 2-3 hours late.

So BA not great, but not exactly a disaster.
