i had to move to the new and really quite amazing radisson collection after one night here. i arrived at the start of a heatwave the second week of september and the room was sweltering but it was 6pm and i took a shower and headed out for dinner. returned and the room had not cooled!

called and an engineer said it was working and would take 15min. ok. 20min and nothing.

go downstairs and demand to be moved to a room w working ac. 20mins later someone calls and shows me a new room but its the same temp.

different desk person (it was 11pm now) finally admitted that the week prior there was a material component for the MASTER AC unit for the hotel that had broken and the company did not have an estimate for when it would be fixed.

i was more than annoyed because had they admitted this at checkin i could have moved then but it was near midnight, i had to sleep and said i would check out the next morning rather than suffer a further five nights.
