AA/UA/DL are pretty similar on not serving meals on flights on short flights -- AA/DL do 900+ miles, UA does 800+ miles. So sometimes I get unlucky (FLG-DFW-CVG comes to mind) and have a full day of flying with just booze and biscoffs.

I seem to recall getting a banana on DL once, too. I'm not much into whole fruit (at least not the boring stuff like apples/bananas/oranges) but I would appreciate some Kind bars or some not-too-sugary dried fruit (mango, pineapple, dates, etc.).
