About 10 days I flew EWR-HND, PJs were available on request but no slippers. I don't use them but a number of other passengers asked for them. FAs did not know if they were going to be provided in the future or not. One FA chatted with me quite a bit. She loves her job but said UAs communication to the FAs about changes in service were slow which causes them to start guessing what will happen and then others repeat what they have heard.
We wait for a formal announcement from on high....
