You can easily spend a few hours at the Manyo Club across from the Cup Noodle Museum. It's half onsen, half theme park, in the style of Onsen Monogatari, and very much different from the traditional onsen experience...though the public nudity required is for the more adventurous of foreigners (that lack uncoverable tattoos).
