I was able to open a AAA account with a financial advisor. They waived fees for me because I am considered a reinvestment customer from the Stockplan closed account of my previous work.
Advisor mentioned there is no minimum holding required for the account but their team has a minimum 250k generally. However, since I am just starting, they don't expect me to start with that much funds. And they can also link if I have eTrade to count for that amount.

Advisor also mentioned I could apply the Amex Plat card with just the Cash Plus premier account i.e., without AAA or Cash Plus Platinum. I thought it would be easy to not deal with monthly direct deposit when they are waiving fee for AAA.

Finding information was difficult but once you get to an advisor, it felt smooth. They are quick to reply.
