I stayed here for one night this week and didn't have the pleasant experience some of you did. Here are a few things to note for people thinking of staying here:
1. As a titanium booked on points I was given what I suspect was a minor upgrade. It was a larger room with a small sitting area similar to the pictures above. The room had a small window that looked at an immediately adjacent building. I was initially given a room on the first floor. I know floor 1 isn't the ground in Europe but this was still too low for me. They moved me to 7.
2. The parking situation is a bit odd. There is no valet which is fine as I prefer self parking but there is no signage pointing to the garage which is a bit past the hotel entrance. It is also quite small. After getting directions to the garage I arrived to find a bellman who asked if I had a parking reservation. I didn't know this was a thing, but they found me a spot without one. It's pretty tight and I'm glad a had a smallish SUV.
3. The hotel was showing some wear. The was chipping paint and frayed carpets. The bathroom was pretty dated too.
4. The worst part-the AC didn't work. I arrived late and was leaving at 4am for the airport. The room was 24c when I checked in and I turned it down to 18.5. When I got out of the shower it hadn't moved at all but my wife was already asleep and we were leaving early so I didn't ask to change rooms but I should have made the call. The temp never budged from 24c all night which means I didn't sleep a minute. The whole hotel felt warm too. I'd guess the lobby and hallways were 24c or more.

Overall, the hotel probably would have been fine for a night or two if it wasn't for the AC issue, but I'd check that I could get the room below 19 before committing.
