I did and asked for UA PNR and explained everything, but LifeMiles just sent me the original reservation info and insisted the reservation is okay. No other answers from them. I also supplied UA with the Avianca ticket number, and UA said the ticket number starts from 134 and is not theirs. I even went to the UA airport counter, and they couldn't find my reservation either. :-(
UA is correct: a 134 ticket is
not theirs. But that's irrelevant: one airline can issue a ticket for travel on another airline. Did you ask the UA agent if they can find the UA flight booked on that ticket through the AV ticket number?
If you call LifeMiles again, you need to ask the agent to supply you with the UA PNR
over the phone; explain that the emails you received only contain the AV PNR, and you want the
UA PNR.
