UA is correct: a 134 ticket is not theirs. But that's irrelevant: one airline can issue a ticket for travel on another airline. Did you ask the UA agent if they can find the UA flight booked on that ticket through the AV ticket number?

If you call LifeMiles again, you need to ask the agent to supply you with the UA PNR over the phone; explain that the emails you received only contain the AV PNR, and you want the UA PNR.
