I fly LHR-HND on 22/05/24 and have been holding out some hope they swap to a 777 for both CS and/or the extremely slim possibility of F reward availability opening up.

I accept they are switching to the 777 for the winter, but why switch back? Is the 777 required on another route? It doesn't seem the 787 has been operating the route too succesfully.

I also thought this would be considered a 'prime' route that they would want to protect and offer an enhanced service but I don't get that sense. I think it has been mentioned they are prone to cancelling these flights as there is often OW availbility on other carriers to transfer passengers to?
