Saw the post on HfP as well. It was too late to downgrade as the card has already been cancelled a week prior. The voucher was still in the account so immediately booked a LH trip which I intend to go. It went through OK. I am hoping if I do need to cancel, the voucher may slip through the net and return back to the account, not cancelled....
