By some reckoning it's the oldest pub in Sydney but it's not that interesting today.
The Hero of Waterloo is a better "old" Rocks pub.
I like The Australian and The Glenmore. The Lord Nelson is good for lunch. The Mercantile if you want a noisy "Irish" pub.
Worth noting the Glenmore has multiple levels so if it looks busy in the outdoor area there may still be availability inside/upstairs
