It's a co-branded card specifically highlighting issues with BA perks linked to the card. I think it's fine to address any concerns to both the issuer and the co-brand. If you slap your company name on something you should be able to deal with the product feedback.
Whether the anger it's warranted or not..I guess that's why we're here.
