My impression is that PY does not sell that well, which could of course be a pricing issue. There always seems to be an awful lot of airport upgrades to PY on offer.
Their current pricing makes no sense at all, especially with the upgradable Y and PY. May as well buy a J ticket upfront either with JL or a competitor. But they do sell out in PY on certain flights. Family was on JL60 with E92 config and PY was full well in advance around for the few days I looked at. I guess that's why JL opts for a similar sized PY cabin with A35K.
