Second will depend on which airline's program you choose to accrue your miles to.
There is a thread where you can get advice on the most appropriate program for you, based on your objectives - Deciding on a Oneworld Frequent Flyer Program? Help is here. - FlyerTalk Forums

Yes, a single RTW in business class can get you to at least mid-level status.
For example my 2022 DONE4 (4-continent, business class RTW) got me from no status to 4031330075339016AA Platinum status.

No. What matters is the marketing carrier of each flight and the mileage accrual rules of the particular frequent flyer program you have joined.

Happy planning!
and keep the questions coming
Thanks for all the great info.

Does it matter if the RTW is 4 continent or 3 continent. I think the max is 34K miles, correct me if I am wrong. Based on basic research seems it maybe a good ideas to start from Tokyo or Oslo. I am planning on starting from Tokyo. So far the routing i am looking for is HND-HKG-SIN-SYD-MEL-DOH-IST-BCN-MAD-CPH-LHR-JFK-LAX-NRT. I could extend it to GRU and EZE but that puts me over the 34K limit.

I do not have any status with any OW carrier. So wondering if i can swing this itinerary and which mileage program would the best to accrue status.
