Not that I personally have used this benefit very often (I think ) have used it only once), but in the future I will have the pleasure of benefiting of better J and Y seats as opposed to crappier C, D, B or H seats should I choose to use it again.
EDIT: Seems that similar enhancement also affects Platinums, and that the benefit is being abolished altogether from Golds.
This entire perk was little silly, if there was only Y availability, only Y could be booked. However, if there was no availability at all, one could book H-class which was a lot cheaper. I have used it dozens of times, and it was sometimes super-handy. Good that at least J/Y is still possible.
