The DEN airport TSA PRE check in agent said the TSA PRE on my boarding pass, which was just printed by a United agent, was invalid? The TSA supervisor said the agents computer was not plugged in and I do have TSA PRE? What a waste of time. Who do you talk to get compensation for TSA PRE wasting my time? On a more serious note, if the TSA Agents system was not ‘current’ who got thru that should not have gone thru? Something doesn’t smell right.
The barcode contains a signature. It'll verify to an offline system the BP is real. You just can't verify Precheck status as that requires online status.
