I think the A3 fleet stands up well these days against other A320 series aircraft particularly with the roll out of wi-fi which does (mostly) work and better service. It doesn't however stand up in any class against a long haul configured aircraft, I can't see choosing an A3 A20N in business against an Emirates whatever in business on any route unless the fares were significantly lower than they appear to be at the moment and I mean at least 50% lower.
