Amex Gold AF just posted a couple days ago.

Called to inquire about retention offers by saying considering cancellation.

Got the usual walk and talk about benefits and then they offered paying AF off with a 40% discount using points (by using 25,000 points to offset the fee).

Refused and said will call back later once I figure out how to move points for cancelling.

No retention offers were made.

I did get a retention last year.
