Indigo Vienna Naschmarkt

What is your Priority Club status?
Diamond

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes. The hotel was lovely decorated, the room was new and well-cleaned, and the staff were beyond helpful.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Standard Queen using free night cert, changed to Standard Queen Balcony right after booking, then received Standard Queen in the annex at check-in.

How are the rooms?
The room was quite small but used the available space well - indeed felt a bit cramped for two but we had no problem unpacking/packing our many bags before flying out.
The bathroom and toilet were separated, but the shower stall was poorly designed and water splashed out easily.
Many power outlets and USB sockets.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
The good:
- Very helpful and friendly staff
- New property, full of plants and flowers, well-maintained room
- Good breakfast

The bad:
- A bit unsatisfied that we were upgraded right after booking (the balcony room seemed to be standard upgrade for elites according to the master thread) yet downgraded at check-in. The front desk staff made no mention of the downgrade/lack of upgrade until I asked. Offered welcome drinks (in addition to diamond amenities) as compensation
- The room was quite small
- If need to access public transit with luggage, the adjacent U-Bahn station has no elevator (obviously no fault of the hotel)

The ugly:
- Wi-Fi is not encrypted

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Paid free night cert ($49) for a 35K reward night. Great value and will return if in Vienna again and rates are reasonable.
