No.. I an a non resident foriegn citizen ( ex indian passport holder). Had been avoiding applying for an aadhar for a very long time .. However its become impossible to get many things done in india without one . So finally ended up applying for one .

Had to apply as a resident using my PAN card as photo ID and a letter from a designated official as address proof . I didn't have any other eligible Indian address proof

Had to Use my mother's mobile number for the aaadhar but that seems to be okay .. Multiple aadhar holders can be linked to the same mobile ( I suppose that not everyone will have a mobile )

On my next trip I'll try to get a mobile number in my name .. Have been using one in my father's name for a very long time

I will then have to get the number on the aadhar changed to my new number..
