Virgin's "Fly Ahead" is a status perk made available only to Gold and Platinum members of Virgin's Velocity programme, subject to the T&Cs pasted below.
If you do not hold either of these status levels, then your ability to change your flight will depend upon your ticket's fare rules, and will involve paying a fare difference (if any) and a change fee (if required by your fare rules)

If you miss your flight, you will have to buy a new ticket.
