I recently bought a Briggs and Riley Backpack (my first B&R piece !) at the luggage store. I had a chance to look at their Baseline 22 Carry on luggage. It was very nice looking, and the compression thing was innovative, but when I am looking at my newer FlightCrew5 22 inch bag - I am not seeing significant quality differences for a $450 dollar price increase. They also weighed about the same. But I give the nod to B&R on their amazing warranty. That was part of the reason why I shelled out big bucks for B&R medium cargo backpack - lifetime. I am harder on my backpack then my carry on luggage.

Heck even looking at the TP Consumer Platinum bags - The Flightcrew5 are built better WAY better and cost much less.
