It appears valid to me TYO-KUL-SIN-SYD-WLG-SYD-LHR-BDA-PHL-BUF-ORD-LAX-HKG-TYO.
So it looks like yet another bug in the tool.

Have you tried making KUL-SIN a surface segment?
