The easiest thing to do is
1) get your eticket from Finnair
2) price up a cash fare in your new classes (either on BA.com or ITA Matrix)
3) deduct the taxes and fees Inc the YQ 1) from 2)
The difference is what you need to pay. £300 does sound about right these days unfortunately
The difference in Avios seems like it should be the "mid value" - this is how the website calculates it- which is 20k here but I tried HUACA recently and everyone I spoke to insisted it's 30k - the difference between the highest values.
I put in a complaint but haven't had a response yet
