Cleveland has some of the best healthcare in the country (or wold depending on who you want to believe ) so we see a fair population of “exotic” International — there is just typically either a level of English fluencies or a handler/assistant traveling with the person that it is easy to go unnoticed if you aren’t paying attention.

This person — I believe I overheard the flight attendant say she was Afghani — apparently spoke a little bit of German but couldn’t be understood by the German speakers on board. I am impressed that she made it all the way from check in through security and on board without speaking English and it wasn’t until she was on board that there apparently became a question that couldn’t be answered.
