As for food at Termini, Five Guys is always reliable as an American staple, but do note that some restaurants don’t open until the latter part of the morning, so if you’re there at 9 a.m., you’re largely limited to café-type places.
Ah man, five guys is a waste of a meal if you're in Rome. If you must have a burger and have some time to kill, the one at the Mercato Centrale, is better. Of course, that's a bit of a walk since it's closer to binari 25-29. But yeah, very little open at 9am that isn't coffee and pastries.
